drop bottom bins - custom sizes

Manufactured in the UK at our own facility we can easily fabricate a custom size Litre Drop Bottom Bin. Standard construction is a 3mm steel body and 4mm steel base and a sturdy box section frame. This can be up rated if required. All of our drop bottom bins are fitted with feet as standard. Castors are an optional extra.

Waste is released by lifting the bin with a forklift truck above where the waste is to be emptied. Then lower the unit down gently to the waste receptacle. On contact the automatic release catch system allows the bottom of the bin to drop open. As the operator gently raises the bin further all of the waste will be discharged.

The unit is then locked closed by lowering the bin to the floor where the drop bottom will return to a closed position and the catch will lock into place.
