Ridgeway visited the site to carry out an audit of how they managed their waste. The audit concluded that a number of the bins needed to be condemned and others refurbished. Furthermore the design of the bins needed to be changed that they were compatible with the machinery on site.
Ridgeway recommended a One Yard Tipping Skip complete with auto tipping device and a two piece hinged lid. To ensure that the skip was compatible with the equipment an aperture was cut into the steel lid together with a collar. A sight glass was also fitted to allow the operator to judge when the skip needed emptying. The skips were also colour coded for waste segregation.
Result: a tipping bin designed for the safe disposal of waste.
